Thanks. If I close everything down and reopen an afpohtos file, then got to 'Place', every type of file is greyed out - just like in the photo Anything on the drive which has a afpohtos extension is grey out !!! So frustrating. -

Thanks for the quick response. I am on a Mac Air, with Monterey Affinity Photo Same problem with files on iCloud or USB stick

I am a new, and only started using Affinity today, and was progressing well. Had a break saved my file. I came back and opened the file. I want to use the Place command, when the directory listing shows, all the files are greyed out. Also everything in the file I created, doesn't allow editing? The document is a Affinity Photo Document What have I done? Thanks
