With metal hardware acceleration activated on an Apple Silicon Mac with Retina display, using a masked gradation curve inside a layer containing transparent areas, the transparency seems to be reduced on parts of that layer, even if the gradation curves mask doesn't should alter anything in that area. This problem only appears, if an image is present in the background. Without having a background image, the wrong transparency alteration does not happen. This seems to be a bug in metal hardware acceleration, because deactivating it solves the problem.

On Beta 10 I just realised, that there is a problem with the guides manager. This problem only appears on Artboards created since the second one. If I type a value, I get an other highly different negative value. If I delete the "-", I get the value I've typed before, but also negative. Its not possible to get the right value, except I create the guide with the rulers and my cursor, without the guide manager. Since Beta 11 this problem does not appear on horizontal guides again, but still on vertical guides.

What a coincidence :D I was just searching this topic, because of that text issue on symbols. Is there a chance you will improve this until the official release?

Danke superhaschi, dein Tipp funktioniert super. For my non-important "self-teaching sessions" I will use the betas. There I can't find brush size for changing their shortcuts, nevertheless its great, that it works now with alt-key. I don't know a song from Nena called Affinity. :) There's the prejudice, we germans love accuracy. Instead the "old", overloaded and complex Adobe Photoshop, maybe we fell in love with the fresh and easy appearance of Affinitys software. :D And because of our try to use nearly every function we paid for, so much of us searching in tutorials and the forum. :rolleyes: Just guessing...

Hi, are there any instruction PDFs for german keyboard layout on Designer and Photo? I have experimented especially for resizing brushes in Photo, but I didn't got it work with alt+5 or alt+6. With this or with different combinations mostly I am only changing the opacity.
