Dimenta got a reaction from Bit Disappointed in New shape tool: Wave tool
It would be nice to have a wave tool to make sine and cos waves with different parameters: wave count, wave height, wave curve (curving in a fibonacci style) etc.

Does anyone have approach for easily making a wavy line? My best solution is doing a line and turning on grid snap and then manually adding points and tweaking them to make a wavy line and then copy that line and fuse them together. Any other hacks?

It would be cool to have a small feature where you could copy a layer and then selecting multiple pagesfrom the Pages window and then right click and "Paste to selected pages".ย ๐Ÿ˜Š

There might be something useful in one or more of these threads (found by searching the forums for wavy line )

Dimenta reacted to Cartoonjosh in Lasso selection for Designer
Hi, I think a lasso selection tool for Designer would be a big helper for many users, in many situations. In particular, if one uses Designer to illustrate and/or draw with a pen tablet, the number of small often very close objects (especially strokes) can be large. A good example could be shading an illustration with cross-hatching, where one ends up with dozens if not hundreds of strokes (and levels). Selecting portions of the illustration in such situations can become near to impossible. The Move tool is simply not precise and flexible enough. It can be used in an "intersection" mode or in a full selection mode, but in both cases it always end up capturing unwanted bits and pieces. De-selecting the unwanted objects is not easy at all, not last owing to the fact that on small objects Designer's Move tool seems to always be a little offset in relation to the object . Using the Layer panel to select details is not always an option either, because very often layers are not contiguous.ย
A Lasso would allow the user to circle round objects much more accurately, thus saving time and... neurons!ย ๐Ÿ™‚ย
I really feel this is missing big time, I'd love to see it in a future release! ย Thank you for your attention!

Dimenta got a reaction from Aammppaa in Same expressions to "Move/Duplicate" as there are for "Transform" panel
It would be nice to have same expressions for Move/Duplicate Panel (when you hit Enter) as there are for Transform fields in the Transform Panel so you could move object horizontally the same amount as it width by typing "w" in the Horizontal field or to move it twice the width by typing "2*w" or in some weird case to move copies horizontally three times the amount of the object height by typing "3*h" and so forth.ย ย

It would be good to put symbols in folders. There may be occasions when there are quite a lot of symbols in a project. Organizing them in folders would then come in handy, don't you think.ย ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ
