I've provided a screen recording as it's easier to see than describe Essentially, if I change the dimensions for one preset to make it vertical, it will change it for other presets too without me even doing anything. Also, whilst I'm on the topic, it would be great to have a button to switch the width and height numbers instead of doing so manually (Edit: Wasn't sure what to label this topic) Screen Recording 2023-07-02 at 10.22.51.mov

When starting up Photo 2 there's a box that says do I want to transfer Photo settings (or something along those lines). I'm not sure if this was supposed to move my settings over as well as presets saved because it hasn't done so apart from my preset file dimensions. Any ideas? Or would I have to create them from scratch?

I kind of figured - I was hoping if anyone had any advice to be honest because I've tried other methods but I can't figure it out

I wanted to follow this tutorial which I started doing in designer. Then I got to the part where I couldn't find anything similar to the knife tool. Tried using the pen tool to mark the shape to be cut and then the geometry options but that didn't work. The 3D tool in the effects tab also doesn't all dimension - I thought if I made a 3D shape then masked the text onto that or something along those lines I could get something similar. Is there a way or is it due to missing features? Thanks!

Just tried this and they both match when zoomed in (the affinity version and the exported version) but when zoomed out I can't really see the grain after exporting but I can in affinity.

I've notice after I export design work (from Affinity Photo) where I've added a noise layer the grain detail is lost - I tried increasing the grain and even exporting in best quality to see if that was the reason and no difference. What am I doing wrong? Grain is only visible after export when I zoom in. For ref. exporting to jpeg for digital platforms. Have other work where the grain looks fine.

Whenever I use the crop tool to crop an image it crops/resizes the whole canvas as well - am I using the wrong tool? I've searched on the in-app help section but it doesn't give me the answer I need. I'm still kind new to the software so I might have missed something.

I found this tutorial on Pinterest - it's done in illustrator but I was wondering if there is a way to emulate this on affinity? I tried in Designer and Photo but I couldn't find anything that would get me a similar results.
