  1. Update: Got around to it sooner than I thought. Uninstalling the .NET framework update did indeed solve the issue immediately. Thanks so much!
  2. Dan - thank you very much. I'll try this later today, see if it resolves my version of the issue, and report back the results for any future users searching for this issue. I don't think I'll try the beta cleanup tool suggested by v_kyr, as I'd rather go with the less potentially damaging one 'cause frankly if I lose the ability to use Affinity that would severely screw over my project LOL. Your Blastoise avatar rules. Cheers!
  3. I have encountered this issue as well. I have tried to link PNGs, JPEGs, and a WEBP, all with the same result of instantaneous crash. However, upon loading a fresh 8.5x11 document, I was able to link the exact same image just fine. The project in question is a 24.6 MB file, so the size and complexity could be playing a part in it.
  4. Hello! I'm very much loving Affinity Publisher. I am currently working on a rather large book (for a tabletop RPG) which requires tons of anchors and nesting in order to let players and GMs look up certain topics very quickly with PDF bookmarks. I actually have no problem with the way anchors are set up, except that every time I interact with the anchors panel, any collapsed "nests" or subheadings re-expand with every. Single. Action. So, in order to drag around and place the many anchors I'm dealing with, I need to close at least five headings with every edit. And, to make it worse, I can't scroll while holding on to an anchor I'm looking to place, so I have to do this awkward dance where I grab it, place it further up into a nest, collapse all the nests again except the relevant two, grab it, and sometimes repeat... This isn't a deal-breaker by any means, but it is very impactful to my workflow and kind of annoying sometimes. I think this feature could use a bit of polish! Just not re-expanding the tabs and/or allowing scrolling while holding onto anchors in the panel would do wonders here. Thanks so much for all of your hard work!
