Thank you for the response and for digging into the issue. I have many other cases besides the RockSalt one, so I think the correction you're offering will only get me so far. I can resolve the issue by picking the right fonts when I open the file. I guess I wish the affinity products could be updated to figure this out automatically - surely this must be a common problem?

Affinity Photo for macOS. Opening an existing PSD file. Get the missing font warning: "Missing font: RockSalt" I open Font Book and see that font "Rock Salt" is installed. Note the space in the font name. I've seen this happen with several fonts now. Is this an Affinity bug?
