Reverting Back to a previous version of program

Doesn't work the installer says I have a newer version and wont install over it -

Installed update to to get the latest release. Opened and created a new file. Created a text box and started typing. Typed The and pressed space - it crashed. Twice more and the same thing happened. Using Windows 11 fully updated. Plenty of disk space and memory. Have not installed any other software in the last month or so. Mike
