notch at the top of my MacBook I didn't even register to check that there was window and help on the other side of the notch. Thank you for the swift response! This was the answer to my question.

My UI was set as I wanted it but I wanted to add more to the list of items shown in order to not have to always have to go to the top to select what I wanted. anyways I have selected the hamburger menu and clicked close panel. I would like assistance putting back the items that were previously there such as Text Styles, Typography, Quick FX, Brushes. Etc. I need to know how to do this for all the Current Affinity Software. Thank You.

**UPDATE** once I downloaded my other apps to get access to studio link, I now have center snapping for affinity publisher. Very strange but I am happy.

I have reported this as a bug. For whatever reason I cannot get objects to center. I can work with clicking alignment then center but makes my work flow longer

I am having the same issue. I wasn't having this issue last week. This only started after I reset my MacBook for a repair. I have to tap alignment then center to get anything centered. there used to be a green line down the middle that would appear when trying to center any shape/object. Hello I am in need of help. not sure if I just don't have something toggled on correctly or not. I am trying to follow along with a tutorial and in the screen shot that says affinity designer tutorial, as you can see the instructor was able to fill the created curve shape in but only the part on the document. if moved, it will show the entirety of the shape filled, but based on placement, anything outside of her document remains transparent. I am trying to accomplish that. In the screenshot of my attempt, the entire curve is showing filled even the part of the curve that is outside of the document. If someone could help me figure out what is wrong that would be great. Also I did try to test this just with the rectangle tool and the entire rectangle filled even if I had the shaped positioned to where part was hanging out. I am sure if would disappear if exported but I want to know if possible to have transparent until moved while working on the document. Thank YOU!
