  1. I was having this issue as well on MacOS. I came across an old post that suggested holding down the CTRL key while right clicking the application icon and selecting `Open`. After launching this way, then quit and relaunch as normal (e.g. clicking the icon in the dock) This changed my application launch time from ~25 seconds to ~5 seconds. I have relaunched a few times, and is still fast, not sure if it will revert to being slower again over time.
  2. How is this still a thing? How can text have a graphic setting (background color) that can't be edited?
  3. IMO Clone should work regardless of pixels or object (it is a common and valid thing to do in both modes). This is default behavior in every other graphics editing program i have used. While impressed with affinity software overall, i find myself googling how to do simple operations in this software when I have been an active user of graphics editing software for 20+ years... there is just enough friction that it stops me from using as my day to day tool.
  4. Sorry if this is not the right place for this, but frustrated with lack of any drag to duplicate feature in Affinity photo. Every graphic app on Mac uses option-drag to duplicate.... I can see from the thread above that it was added to affinity designer at some point, but never made its way into Affinity Photo? No modifier key seems to work, I have to copy and paste....
