  1. Hi Blibby, Thanks for reporting this, we're aware of this issue and are currently looking into it. Meanwhile could you try restoring your backup prior to the update to retrieve your documents (i would advise saving these external to the app once recovered, so you can update the app without any risk) Lee
  2. Hi Jakub, I've been investigating this, as soon as i have more information i'll get back to you. Lee
  3. Hi Stuckagain, Check your performance settings in Edit > Settings > Performance, particularly the view quality and retina rendering options. Lee
  4. Hi 423x, Apologies, I seem to have missed the notifications for your reply. The file does not seem to have uploaded correctly, could you please try again to this link? https://www.dropbox.com/request/PJyoLM4Q5zO3puGaTabz Lee
  5. Just for your information, don't feel you need to use the studio drivers, but it was worth a test. (very few benefits, some downsides to general performance in my experience). What CPU , and how much RAM do you have? Lee
  6. Yes, there is an option to send a crash report to us directly to help future development and you are safe to unblock it. Lee
  7. Hi @Calvert Is this repeatable? The auto brightness issue I was referring to is something that can specifically affect MacOS. It's very unlikely to be the source of your issue. If you are able to repeat this issue, could you please list your computer's specs [OS version, CPU, GPU, RAM] Lee
  8. Hi testrop, Is this happening whilst loading any file, a specific file or when creating new documents as well? Lee
  9. Hi irandar, Could you please upload your file to this link: https://www.dropbox.com/request/8gaHvwDVuzbOrs8ddxkA Lee
  10. I'm wondering if there may be something else interfering with your operation in this manner, this is something we do on a regular basis across many machines/OS's and would have been very apparent if this were a general issue. Could you try uninstalling your tablet driver temporarily and re-testing? It may be worth checking any other processes that have any control over input and closing them too. Lee
  11. Hi Rainieria, Would it be possible to share your book with supporting files to this location? (or a sample of it that displays the issue) https://www.dropbox.com/request/xNxwCz71G6yy6FKhWBdK Lee
Lee
  13. Hi AI Loan, Could you please give us some information on your system [OS, CPU, GPU, RAM] and a little about your project, the file type/size and amount of files you are stacking etc. Lee
  14. Hi arifg, Could you give possibly give a clearer description of what you actual issue is. When you say "locked to panning", are you trying to zoom, and how are you trying to do this? Lee
  15. Hi tvzi20, Yes they both read the content from the same place, but as GarryP mentions, it's always wise to have a backup. Lee
  16. Hi intuos5, Thanks for the report, this looks unintentional, i've logged this issue as a bug. Lee
  17. Could you please try copying the attached file to the following location and overwriting the existing file. This will switch the rendering mode to WARP which should help you launch the app. "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Affinity\Photo\1.0\Settings\PerformancePreferences.xml" Lee PerformancePreferences.xml
  18. Hi josbin, Thanks for this information, i've been able to recreate this and have logged a bug report. Lee
  19. Hi cleaser, Thanks for this report, it's an issue we're currently aware of and are hoping to resolve soon. Lee
  20. Hi Roland Munsil, High polling rates on mice can sometimes cause bottlenecks elsewhere (it may be worth checking your activity monitor for spikes in activity). Which Driver are you using, nVidia's studio or game driver? Lee
  21. Hi Bruce, If you are using an Apple device, you can switch your RAW engine to Apple's which alleviates this issue. Unfortunately Apple's RAW files contain some unique data that causes this affect on our engine. Lee
  22. Hi Brandon, Have you enabled "force pressure" on your brushes context bar? Each brush also has it's own settings which can be edited to choose which parameters change via pressure levels. https://affinity.help/photo2ipad/English.lproj/contents.xml?page=pages/Painting/pixel_modify.html?title=Modifying brush settings Lee
  23. Hi JGansett, This is just a false positive. The crash handler is just a process that does as it describes, handles crashes by writing logs and closing the software correctly, there's no "code injection" or anything like that. I can't see there being an issue blocking this process if you wish to though. Lee
