These differences are possibly down to vibration of the camera when the shutter is physically pressed or potentially even the mirror mechanics vibrating the camera.
I would advise a mirror lockup mode and a remote trigger if you have one.

I believe the feature you are looking for is Justify All.

This can be applied to a single line by highlighting it first, then selecting justify all from the dropdown menu on the justify section of the context toolbar or the paragraph studio panel.

Hi Vozf,
Does this happen with Hardware Acceleration on/off or both? Edit > Preferences > Performance ?
If it's document specific and you'd like to send us the file directly to take a look you can upload it -here-

Do you mean cutting out the person on the left so the grey background is no longer there?
If so, have a look at this short tutorial for a method of background removal.
If you mean actually fading the entire image on the right side, you can select the top layer (the left image) and go to Layer > New Mask Layer, then use the gradient tool on your image to fade it out on the right hand side with a black to white gradient. However this will fade out the shoulder of the image on the left and leave a lot of the background.

Hi, SteveRoberts,
You can reduce the opacity in the Layers Studio panel, however I get the feeling that's not quite what you mean? Could you expand a little on what you are trying to do?

Hi Docs Ricky,
Thanks for the suggestion, this isn't quite the same though this might help somewhat..
If you copy an item, you can paste the style/fx only onto another item by going to the 3 dots at the top left and pasting style/fx.

Hi Michael, welcome to the forums,
would you mind please including a set of your svg files for each problem?

Hi Melissa,
If you could pop any additional info on the main thread this will make it easier to track and help. It will also help anyone in the future who has similar issues if they can find the solution one place.
I see Callum is currently looking into this particular issue for you.

Hi WavyDavy,
This post will hopefully explain what's going on with your strokes, as SVG as a format doesn't support them.
I can't see any errors in layer ordering though.

Hi Stolzy,
We can only really suggest a removal and reinstallation following the vendors instructions.

Hi Emmi,
Welcome to the forums, sorry to hear you are having an issue with your file. Do you have a backup you can return to?
Was this a file that was saved to your hard disk or removable storage or somewhere else? I have tested and I also cannot open the file either. We can attempt to recover the file, however it's not possible to give you an indication of whether it's possible or any timeline for this.

Hi MoonaticDestiny,
Think of the slider as a quick entry for numbers 1-100, the field is there to help you specify any number you like or to calculate the required number. There is no way to change the range of the slider I'm afraid.

could you please send us a crash report file following the instructions below:

Hi Abanze,
In the event of a corrupted file I would advise reverting to a backup.
I have passed on the file for a possible attempted recovery but can offer no indication on either timescale or if it is possible.

A Threshold can be thought of as a limit for a setting to take effect, for example the bloom setting on the lens blur filter when set to 100%, none of the image is considered for adding the amount of bloom you have set. If you drop the threshold 10% only the top 10% brightest areas in the image is considered for adding bloom, at 0% threshold all of the image is considered for adding bloom.
The help files below will aid you in knowing how to use tools; but for general mathematical terms like radius and factor, I would advise Google/YouTube as better resources.

In Preferences > Tools Check your settings for Tablet Input Mode .
With Windows Ink and your tablet driver both vying for control of your pen, switching here to whichever is the correct for your system/driver settings should resolve it.

Glad it helped!

Please check the FAQ post here, if the plugins no longer work even with this then I'm afraid you will need to contact the plugin creators.

How do I avoid ghosting when focus stacking?
in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on iPad Questions
Posted
If you are shooting raw, I would put this down to focus breathing on the lens, (the small differences the movement in the lens make to the image). If you aren't shooting raw it could be the differences in post processing applied to each image within the camera for different shots. With more images the more these differences will show up.
You could perhaps negate this a -little- by overstacking an important image (selecting multiple copies of the same image with the details you consider most important clearly visible), weighing the overall process in favour of that image.
It's still likely you'll have to perform some minor repair to rid yourself completely of ghosting without using hardware dedicated to the task.
