  1. Hi Chris, I'm not able to reproduce this issue, are you on the latest version of Designer? (1.10.5) Would it be possible to export one of your Assets with the issue (using the small 3 line burger menu in the Asset Panel) and sending it to us here: https://www.dropbox.com/request/SSXvhr4ZS6bC3uTg5uHf Lee
  2. You can create a style from selection to include all of those things which can then be applied in the same way you are describing. Lee
  3. Hi Intuos5, Hopefully this video explaining how to use the colour picker to apply sampled colours to your objects will help you. Lee https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/tutorials/designer/desktop/video/301808466/
  4. Hi Fin Leela, Whilst we can't offer any guarantees, a lot of photoshop plugins work in Affinity Photo, below is a handy video explaining the process and limitations. Lee
  5. Hi dr3ad_unicorn, Have you tried either updating or reinstalling your graphics card driver? I've tested the file here and i'm not seeing the same issues you are having and the fact that you are getting crashes with acceleration is a bit of a red flag. What hardware are you running i.e. CPU/GPU/Ram? Lee
  6. Hi Shema, We currently have no plans for Linux I'm afraid and we cannot support emulation etc. Lee
  7. I'm not convinced this is a bug, the studios and pop out windows such as the "new.." dialogue box will remember where they were when they were closed, the problem you are experiencing seems only to be caused by not moving the additional windows over to the appropriate monitor before closing it? I think any adjustment to this method would annoy just as many as it resolves it for. Lee
  8. こんにちはAKe7、フォーラムへようこそ、 [編集]>[設定]>[その他]>[オブジェクトスタイルのリセット]に移動すると、スタイルをデフォルトにリセットできます。 リー Hi AKe7, welcome to the forums, You can reset your styles back to default by going to Edit > Preferences > Miscellaneous > Reset Object Styles. Lee
  9. Try saving to a local drive or disabling any power saving options on your external drive to see if this prevents it from happening, It's fairly likely the save destination is the cause of the corruption.
  10. Images as a whole, in or out of Affinity software cannot have half pixels as a pixel is the smallest unit of data for an image. i.e. a 1x1 pixel is the smallest possible image size. The confusion sets in when software is able to calculate an effect on an image at a sub pixel level. Lee
  11. Hi Darek K, I think importing macros would suit your purpose, here's a quick tutorial to assist you setting these up. Lee
  12. Hi Colin_e, Welcome to the forums and thanks for your suggestions! Lee
  13. Hi Jorge, This is by design to allow a workable area for off screen object selection. I've moved the thread to the suggestions area for visibility.
  14. I'm afraid that's not possible at the moment, it's not ideal but the closest is to convert the text to curves once you've aligned it to curve and to manually rotate skew each letter to suit. Lee
  15. Your "Details Arm" layer is unfortunately corrupted, there could have been any number of causes, are you saving to a cloud based location on your drive (syncing files with iCloud/Dropbox etc)? Would it be possible to take a copy of your crash report? If you delete the "Details Arm" layer and save it, then reload the app to recreate it your file should be fine and work as normal.
  16. As you say this isn't really an Affinity issue as it's affecting non Affinity apps, just make sure your devices are up to date and either contact Apple directly and or wait for a fix. Lee
  17. Hi Lisaaa, welcome to the forums, Did you try the same troubleshooting steps listed here? Lee
  18. My initial thought is that you -might- be asking too much of a Quadro P1000, however there's a few things you can try, obviously drivers, try updating/alternative drivers, and forcing Affinity to use a specific GPU as detailed below. Lee
  19. apologies, this was meant to say "This is expected behaviour, control is a modifier key for the spacebar action, but spacebar is not a modifier key for control.".
  20. Hi Reesar, welcome to the forums! This is expected behaviour, control is a modifier key for the spacebar action, but control is not a modifier key for the spacebar action. Hope this makes sense, Lee
  21. would it be possible to send the original SVG? Lee
  22. Hi Veence, welcome to the forums. Would it possible if you can send the SVG file to us to take a look to see what's going on? https://www.dropbox.com/request/dear2yLaI0K4YNLZzz4P Lee
  23. Could you possibly give us a little more detail on the issue, is this happening with default brushes, third party or your own brushes? It's possible you are accidentally sampling the colour (long pressing)? This brings up a magnified section and then applies that new colour to your current tool. Lee
  24. It will only change once you have resized your document. Lee
  25. Sorry, could have been clearer, what I mean is that if you are using Raw then that means we can rule out any in camera post processing differences causing ghosting in the stacked output, leaving little else to consider but lens breathing. I doubt that it's a hardware issue, just that every lens has a differing amount of focus breathing, the only way to find a lens with less breathing is to research i'm afraid. For this kind of work people would generally use a focus stacking rail like this: Lee
