  1. Hi Lordofweed, welcome to the forums. As a fat thumbed artist this kind of thing is something I do all the time. Thankfully there's about 20 ways to deal with this, personally I would use the dodge tool to desaturate the area. Lee
  2. Hi a_sad_squid, welcome to the forums. This is a known issue, the known workaround is to export as SVG or as a rasterised format. Lee
  3. Hi Guyon, We hope to add this feature in the future, however I don't have any further details I'm afraid. That said there are some excellent online options that are more than capable. Lee
  4. If you then select your pixel layer again, the pixel layer remembers what colour you had selected. Say for example you have three layers; a blue rectangle, a red rectangle and pixel layer with a green colour selected you can freely click back and forth and the colour will always change to the previously selected colour or the colour of the shape or the last pixel layer colour you had selected. This is what I'd expect and I believe makes sense.
  5. I'm not sure I understand the issue with allowing a user to select the colour before deciding which tool they wish to use, I do this myself if I'm honest. Disabling this would just force someone to do things a particular way which may be unintuitive. If you switch layers from a pixel layer to a shape layer it will change your colour, but not from pixel layer to pixel layer. Lee
  6. Hi karstenschneeberger, Unfortunately this graphics card is not compatible due to it's issues with OpenCL, see the post below for details. Lee
  7. Hi Edward, For this type of formatting I would suggest using a separate paragraph style for the initial paragraph as shown here: Lee
  8. I strongly suspect it's an issue with the size of the document and or fidelity of the brushes being used, it's likely the iPad is struggling with VRAM usage. Is it possible to send the file on the iPad using the link above and letting me know which iPad you are using (year and type)? The Clone tool issue on the Mac looks like a separate issue related to acceleration so should be resolved by disabling it via the method above. Lee
  9. For the distortion/cropping, you can change the default lens profile on the same window above, or pick your lens profile manually using the Lens Studio,
  10. Hi Chillin Film Company, Try reversing the "Apply tone curve" option by going to Assistant Manager > Develop Assistant > Tone Curve as below. Lee
  11. No there isn't a way to disable this on the iPad, it's key to the running of the app. This is why I am interested in the files, as the file itself or an unusual workflow/document setup might cause this. Is it possible to send an example of a file this happens on and perhaps a screen recording from your iPad whilst it happens? https://www.dropbox.com/request/QUkHPhZ8Md2czcp9Oe25 Lee
  12. Hi hFA, What's the year/spec/memory/gpu of your Mac? Does turning off Metal GPU Acceleration resolve the issue (settings>performance) there may be some software clashing (such as the tablet driver's handling of the cursor etc). Also is this happening on multiple documents or just this one? Lee
  13. Hi icicestparis. Welcome to the forum. Do you have a more complete image of your error? It's worth checking the access rights to the folder you are exporting to, this looks like a system error as opposed to an error within Affinity. Are you saving to a cloud location? Lee
  14. If you bring in your indent manually using the text ruler, you can use this setting to override the last line. Lee
  15. Hi Kurt, You can send us the file here: https://www.dropbox.com/request/lt2XsOAmu8yozz4ScSX3 However we cannot guarantee any type of timeline to attempt recovery or any guarantee of success. Lee
  16. Hi Cmaimaris, I've had a look at the file and your images, it looks as though you are just noticing the difference between a vector document and a raster document (pixel based). The video below may explain. The above images are also compressed as .JPG's, You could export at a higher resolution or as PNG's but your posts will still be resized and compressed by Instagram so it's usually best to resize and format as the platform recommends to prevent any additional processing. Lee
  17. Hi J3rry, Not at all, you may install and use the software on any Macs as you own, as per the licensing conditions. Lee
  18. Hi lbohen, Would it be possible to send us a copy of the document so we can investigate this further. https://www.dropbox.com/request/qmvOtHYfHC8xEPXNSeo5 Lee
  19. Hi AffinityNoob, welcome to the forums! I think you may have altered this section in the assistant dialogue box (found mid right of the toolbar), changing it back to how it is below should resolve this for you. Lee
  20. Hi Scrollsgeek, welcome to the forum. How often are you fully restarting your iPad (https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT210631) , and does it happen immediately after a fresh boot prior to running other software? Have you tried a fresh installation of the software? Lee
  21. I can only suggest reaching out to the creator of the software. As much as we can try to assist, we can't support third party software and it's down to them to ensure it works for the platforms they sell it for.
