At present it seems like this would depend on Apple in this case.

Hi ronebrown,
We have removed Apple Photo's extension capability due to changes made by Apple that have prevented this from working properly.

Hi s_cream,
This initial preview of the RAW file is saved from your camera. Some camera's for some reason output narrow aperture previews much darker than they should be so I would check your camera's settings.

Hi Joe_l,
This is normal because the selection includes an item that cannot be affected.

Could you please load each app holding the ctrl key down, and tick the following options:
Once you hit reset, just close the app as soon as it takes you to the login registration screen.
After you have done this to all three apps, restart the PC and try to register one of the apps, then launch the second app etc.

Text file support remains the same in v2 as in v1, (Microsoft Word DOCX, RTF).
.DOC as a format was replaced with DOCX in 2007, long before Affinity products existed.
I would advise using your workaround or a web converter which may be more accurate for you.

My personal preference is to create a new category for the project, right click the brush I want a few variations of and copy to category, then edit the brush sizes as I require.

Hi knvb.
Currently the "recent brushes" feature only applies to raster brushes, which allows you to select any previously used/modified brush from a layer and begin painting with it.
At present, the only way to do this is to save your altered vector brushes. (size adjustments are saved with the brush).

I've chased this up for you and unfortunately this file is corrupted beyond recovery.
We advise not working from files stored on Google Drive as the live syncing can cause issues like this unfortunately.
We are currently working on new ways to deal with this issue so it may be worth signing up to the beta here to follow this progress:

I certainly get what you are saying, whether or not I'd classify it as a bug or not is a different question I guess.
I'd say it's definitely worth popping down as a suggestion to improve clarity in the History panel though.

Hi MackNNations,
Thanks for notifying us of this, I've added a bug report. As a temporary workaround, you can clear or reassign the blend mode shortcuts in the settings menu which will free up the ability to type these.

Hi, Hangman,
These all look as they should, though @walt.farrell , a warning for snapshots is certainly worth popping down as a feedback/suggestions post.Lee

Hi Walt,
Apologies for the delay getting to this one.
I've done some testing, it appears that only the documents loaded from the book are exported, i.e. have been present in the memory. Once you open the third document in your example, all three chapters will then export correctly even without the memory stick present.
Conversely, if you open a book and link the files in this manner and don't open any of the books chapters and instead head straight to export the book with the USB disconnected, this currently causes a hang.
I think it's correct to not automatically load all of a books chapters into the memory initially.
When attempting to safely eject the drive with the book open, you are told that the drive is in use. So the real issue I guess is the unsafe disconnection and the lack of notification that a chapter has been disconnected from the open book or a dialogue to reconnect the chapter.
I've reported this a bug to look into.

Hi malaga16,
PSD's are a partially documented closed format, we interpret what we can, but unfortunately it's not possible to interpret the artboards As you have noted, the whole canvas size will be taken.

Hi ygoe,
Are you able to recreate this after a fresh reboot and a new document?
Could you send us a crash report using the following guide.
Lee

Hi SXL,
As mentioned above, The file has been passed to the devs, but we can't guarantee any timescale or success on file recovery i'm afraid.

@Kenny_ We need a way to replicate this to find out what's causing it, this could be a particular video card driver version causing the issue for example. Which driver version are you currently running?
@Cranky Old Huckster Could you please take an image of your settings > performance window the same as above?
Lee

Hi Kenny_,
That is very strange!
Does this persist after restarting your system fully or is it a one off occurrence?
Do you have Hardware Acceleration enabled in Photo's Edit > Settings > Performance window?

I noticed you have emailed us directly as well, so please feel free to respond to the email instead if you prefer.

Having an issue with purchased software suite
in Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
Posted
If you open Photo and Designer before opening Publisher, with them all open, does Publisher allow you to use Studio Link?
If not, it's possible the network administrator has disabled the apps access to the folder required to tell it that the other software is installed.
