I can't seem to find where the page thumbnails palette went and it's not clear which one of these it is in the menus so I can't show it again. Also, I think there needs to be a reset to defaults for UI layout

I don't see an option to default to embedded. It would be nice if I didn't have to go back to the Resource Manager to do this after placing images. Thanks.

I'm trying to move some Indesign documents but I want 0.3125" margins but it's forcing that to 0.313". I realize this is minor but I don't want this rounded

I just saw one of my .ptx texture files show up with an Affinity Publisher icon. .PTX is a popular texture format invented by Disney for texturing 3D models. I don't think it's a good idea to use that for the document type. 

 

[How to prevent exported PDF CMYK from being re-converted]

I do my CMYK conversions in Photoshop to get a particular conversion curve but I can't seem to specify a way to keep my imported CMYK images' values on export to PDF from AD. See attached image – the imported image's black channel and what is exported from AD in PDF separation. In Illustrator, I can export without reconversion and hoping there's a way to do this in AD. thanks. I find this naming confusing since it sounds like a Pathfinder operation in Illustrator. "Break Apart" or something would be more intuitive

I made curves out of the text but now I can't ungroup the subelements of the i in my word. I want them all to be distinct components.

Hi, 

 

I'm anxious to move from Illustrator CS6 but, like many here, I have certain critical needs to fill my workflow. Aside from some that are planned already to come (pasteboard, Pantones, etc), here are my dire needs:

 

- Activated fonts need to show up without a relaunch. This is the most painful thing for me since I use FontExplorer X to activate fonts for logos and stuff while the app is launched to try things out but the application doesn't recognize they are activated so I have to relaunch just to work as I would in Illustrator

- Tiled printing with overlap

- Command key to toggle selection (I want to click out of a text box and drag something without hitting v)

 

 

I'm just working now so I'll update this post as stuff occurs to me.
