Thanks. I tried that but the result seemed to be the same. It's easy to do this if the object is oriented at a 90 degree interval but if it's not, I can't grab it effectively.

I'm trying to extend the background pattern down and left over the remaining edges of the head. My thought was to take some of the pattern and stretch it, but cannot manage to do it since it's on a 45 degree angle, but the selection doesn't let me pull in the direction I want. Here's the part I want to stretch over the head below and to the left: As you can see, the handles are on the surrounding rectangle, but I want them to be on the corners of the marquis or selection so it will blend smoothly. I hope this makes sense. Thanks
