I have been using the Zoom tool to resolve this issue thanks to Hens' suggestion. I do hope to see this fixed soon.

Text Disappears after using the Alignment Tool

Yes, the text is restored after zooming in and out. A simple and hopefully temporary fix. -
The text either partially or completely disappears after Artistic Text Tool> "Enter Text" > Change Font > Alignment Button as seen in the following attachment. Please note that the partial visibility is not related to font size (tested). Is there a fix available? Thanks Community

Yes, changing to and from the Default Intel Plus Graphics to Intel Plus Graphics and WARP solved the issue of crashing upon "Open". This is encouraging to me as a potential Affinity customer to know that its community forum is helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive. Thank you, v_kyr!

Good evening, I have downloaded the latest version of Affinity Photo as a trial user. Upon installing and reviewing the welcome notes, I have tried to open a few images to experiment with. However; the app crashes each time I click "Open". I have searched for a fix via YT and this forum and believe this issue may be unique. I have updated and restarted my computer 3x and deactivated Hardware Acceleration in Preferences that seemed to help others resolve app crashes. Any guidance or instruction would be appreciated to fix the "Open" error.
