  1. I have made a complete photo book in Affinity Publisher, but need help from a professional designer to go through the final design of the book. All the designers I have been in contact with use InDesign and need a PDF-file to start the design from scratch again in InDesign. This is a lot of work for me to send over all the text and pictures as separate files and also, it becomes unnecessary expensive. I have tried to search for book designers using Affinity Publisher, but cannot find any. How can I find designers that works in Affinity Publisher?
  2. Thank you for your answer, Callum. A PDF-file cannot be edited in InDesign (or any other program), so if the designer wants to make any changes to the book, she has to start from scratch in InDesign as I understand it.
  3. I have made a photo book document in Affinity Publisher that the book designer wants to import into her InDesign system. Is this possible? And if so, how?
  4. Apparently, I do something wrong here since I don't manage. Attached is a screenshot of what I can see. What I did was to mark the last page and then right click on the Master A page.
  5. Just one more question: I don't want page numbering on the last page that is the back cover. How can it be removed?
  6. I am working on a document in Affinity Publisher and had inserted page numbers, but decided to change size and placement. I decided to delete the existing one and add a new. Unfortunately, it seems the old one is not quite deleted and prevent making a new one. At least I am not able to do so. Attached is a screenshot of the old field that I am not able to delete. What shall I do to make a new page numbering?
  7. Thank you, Walt, for the tip about abbreviation :). As you say, this is seems to be an issue for APup and a reason for using InDesign instead. For me, as a photographer, it is a key point to get my books published!
  8. Now I am about to export my first book in AP to Blurb for printing. Blurb has an upload for PDF files, but this is a bit more complicated than I had expected. I cannot find any tutorials that cover this in detail. Could someone tell me about a description or tutorial that covers this step by step? Blurb has an app for InDesign users, is there something similar for AP?
  9. Hi, Thank you for your answer. I know about this possibility, but what I was wondering about was if I could get all pages up on the same screen or page in order to get an overview and then move the pages around. Something like you can do in f.ex. PowerPoint.
  10. I am about to make my first photo book in Affinity Publisher. As the work proceeds, I have to rearrange the images so they fit together. Is there a function that makes it possible to get all the pages on one page, like in Power Point or Keynote, and then move them around?
