  1. affinity are brits , andm brits dngaf, so they ll only do what they want anyways, it s not easy to code a software with a dozen devs and devs are not good in design, so bark all you want. you want affinity take what is there, you want pro go to adobe , u get more than the functions u want, more than the tools you want, more than anything you want, you cant even use everything. affinity is not for seasoned pros , if you feel you are a seasoned pro bcz u have so much work that every second of your precious creative time is so expensive, go to adobe pay the adobe also or you wd ve been already employed by an agency that has adobe subs. chill the fudge peps....use what u have and drink a beer while working dont get frustrated.i also came to affinity from adobe, i have 20 years work, illustrator and indesign is my standard, u find anything, but now i am affinity and many things are missing or lacking but get over it.
  2. so why don't we get an answer from serif, they make this forum but don't talk to us. console us!
  3. we need a way to distribute objects around a fixed or locked object, so this would make aligning freehand objects added later in the design swifter. few parameter can be added like in the video editing softwares, tracking a point but specifically for free hand moves and snaps to selct a specific point to snap on or move around or align in relation to. this would be easier than to create a whole parameter page to tell the object how to move or distribute and more precise than the available snapping system in designer.
