Opening a Nikon nef file I get a wrong reading of colours. I discovered that changing parameters in white balance raw and RESSETING will achieve a normal reading, all back to normal Have tried turning off the assistant but things get worse and takes more time to rebalance things. The same file in BETA opens properly Cheers!!!

How do you go about CREATING VERSIONS OF THE SAME OPENED LAYERS FILE??? How do yo DUPLICATE an open file so you do not have to repeat time wasting raw processing + basic editing steps ???? I do not see how the duplicate group of layer command would replace duplicate file in PS??? I guess saving an affinity extension layers file would work but why not within the app????

Ok great Jfisher and MEB yes I can select a rough area ( not a precise area like in PS ),I mean I can make a roundish selection around the area to be removed but how do you select new pixels and replace the first ones??? I cannot seem to drag and drop on a new pixel area like in PS and if I click another area I loose my first selection.... ??? I am on a new pixel layer with all settings to factory

PHOTO MECANIC IS A BRIDGE (ON TESTOSTERONE) STYLE BROWSER USED A LOT BY PHOTOJOURNALISTS BECAUSE OF HOW PRO AND FAST IT IS COMPARED TO THE ADOBE LINE OF BROWSERS CHEERS, FRANCOIS SORRY FOR THE CAPS LOCK BUT I AM HALF BLIND ON A BIG 4K SCREEN

Yes I will do that again MEB and Callum. Good to hear about the Jpeg issue being analyzed! To be more precise these files that will crash AP and AP BETA are exported as original raw files from LR Creative Cloud. They came fom a NIKON D810 as NEF and are transformed into LR as DNG. They average about 60MB as DNG with a dimension of 7360 x 4912 pixels The interpolation in PSCC brings the file size to 3.10G (was 316MB as a TIFF) for a new size of 266 cm X 150 cm and pixel dimension of 31417 x 17674 at 300 dpi AP or AP BETA will crash if attempting to import the file no matter what path I use. If I try that same interpolation in AP or AP BETA it will go trough eventually but both apps will not respond for a while and it will take a lot more time than in PSCC. What resampling do you recommend for this type of fine art work? Here goes a link to the file crashing AP and AP BETA, I put SERIFLABS in copy : https://www.yousendit.com/download/bXBZN3RkR0ZnYU9Ga2NUQw

Lots of problems importing large files (TIFF 1-2GB and up) with or without compression AP and AP BETA do not stand large files and invariably quits. Any prospect of an update to stabilize importing resizing and exporting????. For fine art photography the platform is not ready on its own you need PSCC to finish the work... for me so far AP is unbeatable for creativity but not an ADOBE workhorse as of yet....what do you reckon??? Resizing at the same size 150 cm x 266 cm will put a lot of strain on AP that will not respond for quite a while and we are blind without a progress status bar like in PSCC. What interpolation do you recommend for large files??? Exporting JPGS starting to be a problem too with image cut with grey stripes. I attached one them reduced from a TIFF to JPEG MED Seems to be too early to abandon ADOBE and PSCC wll have to work with the magic triad AP, LR, PSCC for a while...what do you reckon??? If Serif puts a browser-catalog and export soft to work hand in hand with AP wow that would be spendid CHEERS!!!!
