Having carried out exhaustive searches, apparently I did not buy Affinity Photo from the App store and as such cannot access the updates. What can I do?

Hi all, I'm Geoff from Bristol UK and I am new to photo processing, so most if not all the info may be coming my way :( I have played with PS, and also watched some of the videos on Affinity. Lots to learn.

Hi Guys, new here so please be gentle. I have shot some photographs and my Mac has put them in Canon's Image Browser EX and for the life of me I can't find a way to move them either toPhotos or into Affinity so I can edit them. I am probably being a bit thick, but I'm new to this, not being thick :D that's alway been a given.
