@Callum I had stopped using Affinity last year because I found it so frustrating to keep saving and expecting it to crash all the time. Not only does Affinity crash, my whole computer freezes so it means holding down the off button on the computer and crashing the it to re-start everything. I've just done this operation several times today as I need to use the software, but I can't seem to move forward at all in Affinity. Any ideas? I'm running out of time for this project. Thanks Callum, I appreciate any advice you can offer.

Hi, ever since I started using Affinity Photo, certain actions have stalled and crashed my machine. Its not a recoverable stall, it locks the entire machine requiring restart. I've tried different versions of affinity and updated my operating system, but after a several months of not using affinity on my computer , I used it for the first time last night and it crashed within 15 mins. The actions that cause it to crash do not seems to be linked, the cursor just stops moving and no functions are available, then a few seconds later, any other open programs lock. This does not happen with any of the other software I use, only when using Affinity Photo. Any ideas on what might be the problem here? Many thanks Cheers Tim
