That is useful info...and I found detailed newbie friendly instructions for that process here (https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/77543-how-to-use-colorchecker-passport-in-affinity-photo/). However, as I understand it, that would just allow for proper color correction of film or digital photos taken with a color card in the scene...but it would not help in color matching a film's "artistically wrong" colors (i.e. being able to take a photo with a digital camera and then process that to look like a particular film stock). I know that we can use LUTs to do this, but I thought if would be fun to try to make my own.
Edit: just stumbled on this page (https://rawpedia.rawtherapee.com/Film_Simulation), so maybe I can use rawtherapee for the film sim, and then go back to affinity for further processing if desired.
