Affinity Photo Software startup

in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

I have tried a number of times to start Affinity Photo but every time I download the software and try to run it a message states 'Failed to start Setup. seek technical advice'

Can any one please help
