Image mask? (transparent gradient)

SiiXFX posted a topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

Hello, I want to mask an image with a gradient. If I do this the image look's like that.. (Attachment #1) It's destory the colors or so.. But if I rasterise the image (with mask) then it look's normal. (Attachment #2) Why? Thanks in advance!
