Guys, I found the cause. This was coming from Mac's os update. I currently use Japanese and English keyboard, but Apple has changed the specification of Japanese keyboard setting with Roma-ji, and that was the problem. I had to make an additional setting to make Affinity Designer to accept Japanese keyboard "with Roma-ji"so that it can deal with JA inputs without errors. Thanks guys for your support. You certainly helped me make clear things to do.

Thank you guys for your quick response! I use Affinity Designer. The flow of actions is like this: 1. Choose "Frame Text Tool" 2. Create a text box 3. Click it before typing 4. Then the Affinity Designer system automatically puts a blank before the word when I start typing 5. Also when I try to add a character between words, sometime the same thing happens @Pšenda I believe it is a space character. It looks like not from the effect of left alignment of the text. I chose other ways, and it happens as same @R C-R

Whenever I type any words, it automatically tried to add a space that is so annoying. Please tell me how to turn off the function.

Hi, I have been using Illustrator for years, but after I tried this Affinity Designer, now I hate the subscription and uselessness of illustrator. For my work environment I need to use Windows, but I use Mac at home. So my question is, Are you planning to make Windows version? If you could... I would love to use it instead of illustrator...

Hi, I am having a trouble with the display of tool bar, which is usually on left side and shows layers, effect, so on. It seems I somehow turned off the display and now cannot edit layers at all. I would appreciate if you could help me Best
