Hi @chessboard, I've been able to replicate this issue with locked pixel layers and it has now been logged with the developers for resolution. I was also able to replicate this behaviour in V1, however in both versions it seemingly only affects pixel layers.

Hi @Monaslunch welcome to the forums, I would initially suggest disabling hardware acceleration under Edit > Preferences > Performance > Restart the app and then try your workflow again.

Hi @STGM, As far as i'm aware this is by design, the snapping options/magnet icon is pressed in when it's enabled, the preview mode won't show as pressed in unless preview mode has been enabled (Long press on the button > Top option to toggle preview mode) at which point it will show pressed in. The other options such as the grid under the preview menu shouldn't show the preview icon as pressed in since they are the opposite of what should be showed when this is enabled. https://affinity.help/designer2ipad/English.lproj/pages/DesignAids/previewMode.html

Hi @Ravager Zero, After opening your .afpackage file and re-linking all your .afdesign files in Pub V2 i'm not experiencing the same offset/text issues as demonstrated in your screenshots, everything appears to be fine within your file. However, I noticed that I can't open your .afpackage file in V1 since it was saved out of V2, therefore I would like to request if you could upload an .afpackage file that has been saved out of V1 which experiences this issue, so I can then try and replicate this issue when opening it in V2. Best practice for uploading would be to save your .afpackage contents to a folder as standard, and then right click the folder in finder > 'Compress [FileName]' and then upload the zipped file to the forums. welcome to the forums @rickbm, At what point are you experiencing the app crash, are you able to get the app past the start/splash screen before it crashes, does the crash occur when opening files within the app? Could you provide a crash report? Are you able to open these JPEG/PNG/TIFF files or does the app immediately crash upon opening them? If this is the case, I've had some users have report success by resetting the app to it's default settings (Note: this will reset all custom content across the installed affinity apps): Close down All Affinity Apps From the start menu/desktop hold down CTRL and Launch Photo 2 whilst still holding down CTRL This will prompt a 'Clear User Data' menu, tick 'Affinity Photo 2' and 'All Affinity Apps' to tick all boxes on screen (Do not tick deactivate Affinity 2 apps at the bottom) Press 'Clear', the app will now launch. Try opening a file again.

One of the mesh warp presets is for perspective (can be found along the context toolbar or via the layers panel mesh warp button). In Photo 2 there is the perspective tool for pixel layers: https://affinity.help/photo2/English.lproj/pages/SizeTransform/perspective.html

Hi @NotMyFault, After comparing V1/V2 export times on a few different sample images using Palletised Automatic and Greyscale 256 Export settings i'm getting near identical export times for each image, this was on an intel Mac on Monterey, i'm yet to try this on an M1. Is this something you have only noticed in V2? If so, could you possibly provide me with a sample image and advise what export settings you're using? Many thanks 🙂

Thanks, it's not something i've noticed before but this is the same for me with the hand/view tool selected, so this is likely by design but i'll confirm. I've also noticed that OP is not using the Mouse wheel/Cursor to zoom/pan from what I can tell, when I use the CMD shortcut keys to zoom it does disappear for a split second and then redraw.

Zo ja, zou je kunnen proberen Hardwareversnelling uit te schakelen onder Bewerken > Voorkeuren > Prestaties en de app opnieuw te starten voordat je het opnieuw toepast. Als het alleen in een enkel bestand voorkomt, kunt u mij dan het bestand bezorgen? Ik kan indien nodig een privé-uploadlink geven. Erg bedankt.

Hi @ericGa, I've not been able to replicate this yet, panning/zooming on pages retains the text frame(s) bounding boxes, even with them deselected. Could you confirm if disabling Hardware Acceleration (Preferences > Performance > Untick> Reset App) resolves this? Additionally, could you send a screenshot of your 'About This Mac' Specs? Hi @maxen, I've not been able to replicate your issue yet with subtractive compounds on text/curves on a new document, could you confirm if disabling Hardware Acceleration resolves this (Edit > Preferences > Performance > Untick > Reset App).
