Hi @nobduck, At this point are you able to get into the app welcome screen or does it crash during the start up/splash screen? Could you try launching the apps from a separate mac user/ if ones not available creating a temporary new mac user and then trying to launch/use the apps on the separate user? This helps rule out if there's something unusual in the user environment.

Many thanks for providing the file, Unfortunately I can't replicate the crash yet after editing the text frame(s) on three separate iPads including an M1, this has worked as expected on each. Could you confirm the same issue occurs after doing a force restart to clear the cache and ensuring that no external device/keyboard/pencil is connected before trying this again? FAQ on how to do this is below. If it's still crashing, could you confirm if re-installing the app resolves this? (Be sure to back up any files in the Affinity Publisher default folder in Files as this will be deleted). Finally, if it's still crashing could you send me the most recent crash report? FAQ on finding these is below.

Hi @grapher, After exporting your file using the PDF (For Print) export preset on Mac and Windows, both have exported successfully to PDF without fragmenting in the final document. However, I had exported PDF documents Missing/Unlinked, since the re-link caused every placed instance of the stitch to duplicate to the same initial PDF Page (which would require me to go through every instance and update the page number). Could you confirm if the same happens if the linked resources are converted with embedded and also provide me with an embedded version of the document (same dropbox link)? Thanks!

Hi @NevB welcome to the forums, We do have an issue currently logged with the developers regarding an error when using the Ellipses > 'Edit in Affinity Photo' function causing an error message after saving the document in Affinity Photo, to confirm if it's related to this problem could you possibly screen record the issue up to the point where the error is encountered? Hi @Andrew OBrien welcome to the forums, I had initially thought this was connected with the node selection issue when there is >1 page in the Publisher document, however this issue is resolved in the latest beta release i'm still able to replicate this issue with snapping intermittently between documents. I've now logged this with the developers, thanks for providing detail.

Hi @Kevin B, This issue relates to nesting anchors rather than re-ordering them, we do have an issue logged with the developers regarding the anchor re-ordering not working, so I've bumped this issue against V2 with your report.

Thanks for the recording @BryantJ, It looks like the two issues are tied together, I angled my iPad so it began flickering the adjustment window, when I tried changing any of the colour stops my changes were also being ignored, when the iPad is on a flat surface, it starts responding to changes again.

Hi @ChillMonster welcome to the forums, Different brushes may have different default controllers, have you tried overriding the controller to 'Pressure' along the context toolbar when using your tablet pen before painting onto your canvas? I would also suggest disabling hardware acceleration under Preferences > Performance and then restarting the app. If this still isn't working, could you possibly provide a screen recording demonstrating the issue? Hi @HenrikM, I'm not able to replicate an issue with the quality dropping on linked files following an export, I've gone through an few different formats and the image quality is being retained identical to the embedded version of the file. If this is something that you can replicate, could you provide me with a sample image/.afphoto file and a screenshot of your export settings? Many thanks!

Hi @ElenaKwelcome to the forums, Apologies on the late reply, this issue has been previously logged with the developers for resolution, I've bumped the issue with the details of your report.

Apologies, I had meant to link the V1 FAQ but it appears you found the correct folder. It's possible app isn't able to generate a crash report possibly due to Windows crashing it out with the memory error, preventing the app from generating a report. To confirm whether or not this is an issue with the program or your OS/Hardware, you could try the below: - It's unlikely to be related but disable Hardware Acceleration under edit > preferences > performance and reset the app. - Completely re-install the app from scratch: Rename the 'Photo' folder in %APPDATA%/Affinity to 'Photo.old' and then uninstall the app using the Microsoft uninstall trouble-shooter linked here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed-cca7d1b6-65a9-3d98-426b-e9f927e1eb4d After uninstalling, re-download and install the app from the affinity store. - Create a new temporary Windows user and run the app from the new user to see if it crashes You may not have run into this error on other apps as it could only be encountered on more memory intensive apps, such as Photo (dependant on the file(s) open), it may be worth monitoring your memory usage in task manager whilst in Photo. Could you also send a screenshot of your 'System information' page which shows your hardware specs?
