  1. Hi @JeremyTankard, I'm not sure I completely follow, could you expand on what's going wrong when you print using a custom preset to print from Pub v2? The Print dialog appears slightly different for me as i'm on Ventura, but I can see that the orientation in the preview menu appears to be different on your screenshots, when I've compared the print preview on Publisher 2 Vs the Preview app using the same identical print settings and a custom preset, the orientation in the preview appears the be the same for me, is the orientation of the preview the problem you're referring to or is it differences in the printed result? Many thanks
  2. Hi @ygoe, Any chance you could provide us with the file you've been re-ordering the layers on along with a screen recording which demonstrates exactly what's happening when you're attempting to re-order your layers? I can then see if this problem can be replicated. If you could also provide a screenshot of your in app performance preferences and screenshot of the System Summary in the 'System information' menu this would be helpful, I've provided a private upload link below. https://www.dropbox.com/request/SofnVKXRc5dyFsFDgitO Many thanks!
  3. Hi @Ezbaze, I've replicated this issue and it has now been logged with the developers, thanks for providing detail. πŸ™‚
  4. Hi @REMR3D welcome to the forums, Try disabling the 'present on external displays' option under the app settings > general and then see if the tools, panels etc. appear on your external display. πŸ™‚
  5. Hi @Steve Z, Is the file you're opening a RAW format? Have you got a sample file for us to look at, and how long is it taking for you to open the file? Many thanks
  6. Hi @Martijn, If you're working on an artboard and want to scale the objects when resizing your artboard, select the artboard you wish to scale with the move tool and then untick 'Lock Children' along the context toolbar, this should then scale both simultaneously when resizing your artboard.
  7. Hi @max1josef, I've moved your post over from feedback to bugs, this is an issue we currently have logged with the developers, drag and dropping an image will not honour 'Force Pixel alignment', however just file > placing an image should. I've bumped the existing issue with your report.
  8. Hi @DanH, Looks like this is the same across all three platforms, I did recently log a syncing issue with layer visible states not being recalled on duplicated after re-opening a file and this appears to be very similar but with the K only attribute. I've replicated this and logged it with the developers. Placing again instead of duplicating will correctly be remembered between app sessions as an alternate workaround.
  9. Hi @elguapo, I've now replicated this issue and logged it with the developers, many thanks for you report.
  10. Thanks for clarifying, if it's the develop persona presets you're referring to, there is a bug logged with the developers with the develop persona custom presets not being applied until you re-select the preset from the dropdown list, i've bumped the existing issue with your report. πŸ™‚
  11. Nice one, thanks. Think I've just spotted the issue with the bounding boxes going missing immediately, I've previously logged an issue to do with the bounding boxes failing to draw after double tapping the Rotation/Zoom values within the navigation panel, it looks like in your recording the double tap is done on the dimensions, but can also happen on any of the other values in the transform panel. As an alternative to exiting and re-entering the document, slightly zooming in/out on your canvas should re-draw the bounding boxes, not totally ideal but it does work. I'll get the existing report updated with these details, many thanks
  12. Hi @Gabor Gosztonyi, Any chance you could provide us with the exported .afmacros file from your library so we can take a look at the issue? If you do not wish to share it publicly, I can provide a private upload link. Many thanks!
  13. Hi @Mr. Doodlezz, Looks like a UI bug with the default blend modes on the Bevel / Emboss FX, this isn't present on Windows which correctly shows the blend modes as Screen/Multiply. I've now logged this with the developers, thanks for your report.
  14. Hi @Cartoonjosh, I don't think there is any specific reason that a lasso selection for the move tool has not been added, if this is something that you would like to see implemented feel free to make a post over on the feature requests section. πŸ™‚
  15. Hi @NotMyFault, I believe this is dependant on where you press. If you tap on the adjustment layer thumbnail you will be given the adjustment menu immediately, but if you tap on the adjustment name it will not prompt the menu, the same as on desktop. Unless I have misinterpreted and the bug is something else? If so, it would be great to review this in the recording. Any chance you could upload the recording and sample file you used (if possible) to the dropbox link below? https://www.dropbox.com/request/B0AwLyBcqCkfi0mJEaPf Many thanks
  16. Hi @Ezbaze, I've been able to replicate your issue with the quality drop/redraw issue after I modified one of the linked symbols (slightly moved the text frame), saved it and then saved and closed and re-opened the parent/working doc again. Zooming In/out didn't always resolve the issue, and this occurs on both Mac and Windows. I've now logged it with the developers, many thanks. πŸ™‚
  17. Hi @Ezbaze, Good catch, from what I can tell this looks like a regression from V1, I've now replicated and logged this with the developers, thanks for providing detail. πŸ™‚
  18. Hi @Ultraleech10 welcome to the forums, If you're able to freely transform your object(s) with the aspect ratio ignored this is determined by 'Move tool aspect constrain' setting that can be found in the app settings/preferences > Tools. If you set the option to 'Always constrain' this will ensure that your scaling will always be constrained by the aspect ratio no matter what is selected, but it can still be ignored if you use the 'Shift' command on the command controller. Alternatively, you can leave it on Automatic which will change the behaviour dependant on the number of objects selected, but you can always use shift on the command controller to do the opposite. Command controller guide: https://affinity.help/designer2ipad/English.lproj/pages/Workspace/wheel.html
  19. Hi @AnD4D welcome to the forums, This is a known bug currently logged with the developers in 2.1, I've bumped this thread with your report, there is a workaround available for this without having to resort to the default presets, I've linked a post below which details a workaround by using the swatches no fill/transparency option.
  20. Hi @tersmuse, I've just checked this on my Ventura Mac and the default profile set in preferences is updating in the new document interface as expected, even after a restarting the apps. I also checked in an existing document by changing the colour space to CMYK, it immediately defaulted to ISO coated v2. Unless I have misinterpreted and you were expecting it to change somewhere else? I don't believe this profile is available as standard on Macs (or mine at least), as I had to install the ICC profile to test this but it did work after moving the ICC profile to my ~/Library/Coloursync/Profiles directory and then restarting the app, I could then set it in Preferences as my default and when I set a document to CMYK in the new document interface, it showed ISO Coated v2 as expected. If you were to try setting another profile as your default in preferences, does this work? Or, if you were to try this with a different default RGB profile, does that work?
  21. Unfortunately so, every time I re-open my working document after adding/duplicating an artboard in the linked file and saving it is exactly how I left it albeit with a new artboard available from the context toolbar dropdown menu, so essentially exactly what should be happening unlike what's shown in your video 😐 Thanks for trying, so it appears that it doesn't matter how the artboard is created or duplicated. I also don't receive the update notification either (unless I leave the working document open and then save the linked file), when I open the working document it has just updated, but no artboard view change or additional update is needed. I'll keep poking at it and see if any other members of the team can re-produce it.
  22. Hi @rockclimber, The vector brush tool doesn't have a symmetry function built into it unlike it's pixel counterpart, however symmetry can be achieved with vectors with the use of symbol layers, I've found an old thread below where Garry does a great demonstration of how symbols can be used in this way, his demo is on desktop but the same can be applied on iPad in the symbols panel. More info on symbols: https://affinity.help/designer2ipad/English.lproj/pages/SymbolsAssets/symbols.html
  23. Hi @NotMyFault, Many thanks for the recording, I've now replicated this and logged it with the developers.
  24. Hi @madPXL, I've now repeated these same steps with your file on a few different Macs, one of which is near the same model as yours, but without any success in successfully replicating the issue so far, as reverting back to my original working document correctly updates the layer states and the correct artboard remains in view rather than the whole document. Though, I'd like to ask does it make any difference if you change how you duplicate the artboard, such as using copy/paste instead of CMD+J/Opt + Drag? Also, if you leave the original working document open the entire time and repeat the steps, does this prevent the issue?
  25. The original bug that is logged specifies the artboard needs to be a 'very small size' to cause the redraw issues with a file attached that is around 40~ pixels for W and H (Not sure what specific size before this starts happening), on OP's file If I make the star object and artboard significantly larger it does stop happening.
