  1. Thanks MikeTO, great detective work No idea how these weird little images got there 😯
  2. When I'm trying to change the line stroke width for footnotes in this documents, it just crashes every time. No idea what causes this or how to fix it....Using latest version on MACOS latest version M1 Macbook Air PACKAGE.zip
  3. Everything seemed to be working fine, but then I got this weird other issue, if footnotes span to the next column they get huge. (it only happens if they span to the next column) If I click on the big text and try to reapply the normal size on the BIG text, the text on the previous column gets really small. (Wanted to upload my original AFpub file, but it has gotten really big 140 MB (while only using linked files (?))
  4. Thanks so much for the quick and detailed reply! Totally overlooked the baseline grid issue, that seems to have solved the problems
  5. I'm having a lot of trouble with the new footnotes functionality: - Placed text from a Microsoft Word document - When formatting the footnotes they disappear (some text overflow issue). I've tried using brand new paragraph settings, deleting old footnote styles, resetting notes to factory defaults, etc etc. Any help on how to solve this would be appreciated, (I don't feel like adding 50 footnotes manually dof2022_4_v1.afpub
  6. Hi, I'm just starting with Publisher and importing a lot of docx documents from different authors for a magazine. Now is the following possible? I can not find it - Importing the docx, keeping ONLY italics and bold text? (removing rest of the formatting) - Importing the docx automatically creates styles, can I remove them and replace them with an existing style? (Hitting delete on a style now does not give me the option to replace all instances of the style with another one, as would happen in InDesign) This would save so much time! So hope it is possible and someone can help me find a way to do it. Thanks! Johnny
  7. Really hope footnotes will be implemented. I bought publisher without realising it was missing this feature. I'm doing a history magazine layout at the moment that requires footnotes, started the job in Affinity so I will finish, but it costs me so much extra time now, not worth the money I saved on the cancelling the Adobe subscription. Really don't want to get back to adobe! but if this feature is missing I will have to...
