  1. Hello. Thanks for your answer. It seems not to work….. Steps: 1. -> Text Panel (Studio is the same, no?) -> Language: - I’ve selected « French (France) »: it doesn’t change anything in Preflight control (I’ve even played with default/Latin/French choices for hyphenation and spelling). - it is the same if I choose « none » as language (with default or auto for hyphenation and spelling). Remark: you’ve said that «It's worth nothing the listed languages are the only ones available, the iPad version cannot have any additional ones added ». should have the same rules, dictionary and so on. Are you speaking about Publisher or iPadOS? About iPadOS, I would suppose that for orthography, Français-France, Francais-BE(lgique) and Français-CH (Switzerland) should have the same rules, dictionary and so on (is it the same for Français-Canada?). But those countries use different keyboard setup, and this option is recorded in system preferences (France: AZERTY - Belgium: AZERTY with special accents places - Switzerland: QWERTZ). Would it be possible that there is the problem? Not linking these particular keyboard setups to dictionaries or something like that? —————————————- 2. Preflight Control Panel: always overpopulated with « Missing Dictionnaries for language (fr-CH) » messages I’ve tried to modify Profiles of this section: if I suppress orthography control, then no more errors messages (purely esthetic, but loosing a function). ⚠️ Doing this, I’ve noticed what is perhaps another bug (perhaps related, so I’ll mention it here): when you choose the « Modify Profile » option and modify it (only tried with orthography option), then changes are not recorded. - sort of confirmed by the fact that when you’ve closed the « Modify Panel » (options), the Profile name (preset) shown in Preflight Panel’s designed box is no more this profile’s name, but «<personalize>». - What I noticed is that at the moment of the creation of a new Profile, it doesn’t let you choose options but creates this profile with the settings effective at the moment. So, « modify » doesn’t record changes, but as a workaround, you could select a profile, modify and close it. At said here above, at that moment the Profile’ s name in the box will no more be the name of this particular profile, but « <personalize> ». ⚠️ if at this step you create a new profile, it will keep all the changes you’ve made just before. In summary, not possible to modify a Profile, but you can have a new one keeping changes you’ve made with this method. Regards.
  2. Hello. Here it is the same with Swiss (French-CH). Not recognized and then overpopulated Control Panel with « missing dictionary CH-Fr). Regards
  3. Hello. Same problem here: impossible to export whole doc in PDF (either Web type, or PDF-X 4 with full print options) (I’ve tried exporting doc with new name and reopen it, etc) Doc: 10 pages A5 300 PPP with few texts, one to 3 photos by page. - no ressources errors (everything integrated). - able to export page by page (choosing export active page only) with both preselections. - when the whole doc is selected during export, the wheel is turning eternally ⚠️ I’ve been able to export whole doc (perhaps prior to update to more recent iPADOS version?). Supposition (beside Affinity Publisher): my iPad is nearly fully filled…. RAM or memory problem? Machine: iPad Pro 12,9 500Go - second generation - last os. P.S. other export bugs (or personal errors?): - when choosing to export with hypertext links, it doesn’t work on exported pdf (numerical version). Would it be, perhaps, that my texts layers with hyperlinks (to pages, to URL) are put in other layers - each text with link alone in another layer of image’s box frame (sorry for names, I’m working in French. Regards.
  4. Hello, Lot of digressions, sorry! I’m not a professional but I was looking for the same answers and still am I. My reasons were to be as web-free as possible ( an old bad but liked habit). As an old Mac user, I wish to be free to choose how I’ll do things (ex: it’s no more allowed to back up iOS apps on OS X and reinstall/modify the apps on iOS from your Mac. On each machine you’ll have to download apps again - and apps that are no more on AppStore won’t be usable no more… That’s said, for the commodity of files quick updates between devices, finally I do sync Notes.app and Calendars.app threw my free 5GO iCloud account). My wish too is to have a copy of my selected files and folders on each machine (iPad Pro 12,9 second generation, iPhone SE 2020 (not all files….) and…… (waiting M2 perhaps) a MacBook Pro 17 inches mid/late 2008 with an SSD - on 10.11 El Capitan! For photos and music (import to Mac and sync of Mac albums to Photos / Music on iOS, I’ll (still) use iTunes. I did the same for Contacts and Calendars, till recently (as said before - now iCloud but without internet I could still use it too). For files, I’m using Readdle Documents app (I’m speaking about the iOS side of sync. - you can connect a lot of clouds , a little bit like Apple Files.app - you can connect to sites or computers by FTP or SFTP: 1. Useful if you want to midify a part of a site 2. THE REAL SUBJECT: after having joined a computer on your local network, you could choose files or folders on your computer to be sync between your devices, with and through your computer (perhaps with a need to allow connection to shared folders on your Mac in Settings.app - Sharing tab - or you can connect to your whole computer). Pro and cons: - I would suppose it’s for a sync limit: your synchronized files cannot be attained from another app directly (ex Files.app): they are in a special folder only readable from Document.app . So, let’s imagine you always need to send a special attachment with your mails. Solution one: you’ll create you mail directly in Documents.app and send it through Apple Mail.app. But if you would like your attachment to be in an answer to a mail, it won’t be possible, because - answering to your message in Mail.app - you will only be able to use the files in Document.app at first level, not in your synced folders….. solution two: really not ideal: make a copy of those files from your synced folders to the first-level folders. - Documents.app does synchronize to your Mac only if it’s not in the background….. not ideal, no? - another remark about files and folders in Documents.app, with no relation with our problem: folders are always above files - what I dislike a lot. I even wrote to Readdle two years ago, but after some exchanges, they didn’t allow an option to change it. Here we’re my two words…- I would be really curious to know about others strategy. Using iOS apps would be better, as K.I.S.S. (Keep it simple) seems a good precept to me. With Apple Files.app, you can connect to your computer (ex. 192.108.1.1) but you cannot sync ….
