  1. I was unable to activate the table controls that appear around a placed table (to add/remove columns etc.) in a document with existing tables. Any new tables also wouldn't display these. I was still able to select cells and use the table formatting options normally.

Restarting the application restored these controls.

BTW, I'm really enjoying Publisher and can't wait to by the final released version! My only other little note is that I think the default colour model should be CMYK.

  2. Firstly, I love the line pressure graph tool! I don't know if that's an Affinity innovation or not, but I'm gonna use the poop outta that.  :)

Perhaps it's just me, but I feel like the following features should already exist:

    • Vector pattern fills for hatching etc.
    • Custom vector brushes
    • A dotted/dashed line creator
    • The ability to use a shape as a mask (never mind, I just found that one!)

I'm sure these are already in the pipeline, so that leads me to my real question: Is there a roadmap published anywhere? I'd be very curious to see what other features are coming soon … and which we can expect eventually.

  3. Ah, nice, this was a request of mine too.  :)

It's still a little hidden IMO. I feel like it should be a universal (optional?) box below the colour menu. It's tremendously useful to be able to cut and paste specific colour values, even if you're not doing web development.

Speaking only for myself, I like to see this even when working in HSL or other modes. The different modes are just different ways of creating the colours I want, and the hex value is just a convenient way of transporting that information.

Also, if possible, it'd be nice if it supported RGBA (alpha) values.
