Switch canvas off

Felix posted a topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

Hey there! I'd really like to switch off the canvas, so I can see my desktop while working (as in Adobe programs) in Affinity Photo. Otherwise I have to hide the app or minimize it. Is there any option or planned at least?
