I found out by trial and error that Affinity Photo will open the lossless compressed files from the Z9, which produces the largest file size, and of course JPG's. The two other file types that the camera can save images in, Affinity photo will not open those files at this time.

Thank you for the suggestion, however my Develop Assistant is set to Serif Lab unfortunately every time I open a raw file from the Z9 All I get is a black rectangle.

I have just purchased a Nikon Z9 and Affinity Photo will not open these files. I am wondering if Serif is going to provide an update so these Nikon NEF files will open in Photo?
