  1. I'm using Affinity Designer on a M1 ipad pro 12in. In the past week, there's been a long lag when exiting a document and going back out into the project folder. Sometimes the whole screen (within Designer, but not the entire ipad) blanks out and is frozen for a while before the documents in the project folder reappear again.
  2. Using an iPad pro v5, current on all updates. The issue with the swatches/saved palettes switching [to another palette] each time a new color is added to an application palette is ongoing. Thank you for noting this issue.
  3. Thank you for the suggestions, Walt! I do have Affinity 2 on desktop and your suggestion will save some time in this transferring process.
  4. How are people accomplishing this? Would love to get some creative solutions. Thanks.
  5. I am using the color picker to select colors to add to an application palette. Once a color fill selection has been added to a color palette, the palette automatically switches to the “recent colors” palette, while labeling it with the name of the other color palette. The option to add colors also goes away and doesn’t come show up again until I navigate back to the previous color palette.
  6. Hi Dan, Thank you for your continued assistance with this. The pixel size for bitmap fill is usually 2k. Is this too large of a file? Sometimes it works great, sometimes it crashes. I would say half the time it crashes the program. I have an update regarding the missing file. Before it crashed I had pulled the file from a project folder onto the Home Screen and opened it up from there. When the app crashed, the file returned to the project folder that I had pulled it from. Which is still strange but less concerning than a file that’s completely disappeared.
  7. Hi Dan, Thanks for replying! I super appreciate your help. And I agree: Apps do crash, but the frequency is quite unsettling, as well as a disappearing file. I’m using a 12.9 iPad Pro 5th gen, all updated to 15.2.1. The bitmap fills are jpegs. Would a larger file size fill cause frequent crashes? What’s a reasonable size? Thank you for bumping the undo issue. For the cutting and pasting issue, the app crashed and the file completely disappeared from the home screen. So very strange. Thank you so much for your thoughts on these issues. I’ll check out the force restart and give it a try.
  8. I’m new to AD and have been trying it out, but honestly I’m a bit afraid to add this program to my workflow due to the repeated crashing. Each time the program crashes, I lose everything that was done since the file was opened, and twice, the entire file disappeared completely. Using bitmap more often than not causes a crash. The “undo” function can also cause crashes. And recently, cutting and pasting a group also crashed the program and completely deleted the file. Is this normal? Is there a way AD can to be set up to prevent these crashes? Thank you in advance for your thoughtful replies.
