    Hi there,
I am completely shocked that after waiting all this time for Publisher after the initial announcement of Affinity Publisher that it is only good for physical books. The inability of Publisher not able to create links especial in a contents page is just plain nuts. I am not a huge fan of ebooks but Pdf's with working links to pages or to outside internet pages is really important. I am sorry guys you missed the boat in my opinion.  I can create Pdf's with workable links in Apples "Keynote" ........... I have purchased Designer, Photo, and the two books that accompany those apps. I can not consciously spend any amount for this product when I can get the same results with "Keynote"
    with respect
    Colin

Form editing would be awesome. Please consider it for future versions.

It would be cool if eventually Publisher could export to e-book formats viewable on an iPad or on Kindle devices.

I would like to state, that publisher looks promising, but I was disappointed with the lack of tools.  I use Page Plus X9 daily at work and home, and was really hoping publisher, would offer what X9 offered and even more.
It is understood that publisher want to stand up to In design, but then export formats like e-pubs, and mobi will have to be added, and alot more.
The Feature for QR Code generation was also not found to be included, unless overlooked and it is somewhere hidden.
It's noted that publisher focuses a lot on graphic and text design, but not so much from the looks of it, on proper online publishing  as the formats are supported.
I do hope Publisher will eventually have the flexibility that X9 has, and the ease of creating content, as it appears to be abit complex and hidden away.  Like X9 you can put a shape on a page, and right click on it, and have several options to use for.  In Publisher you must somehow select the options from the tabs and menus and is in my view abit annoying and difficult for people that is not familiar with the program.
Well Happy Publisher is here, but sorry, can't give a thumbs up.  Don't know why it is call publisher if all the proper tools needed for publishing especially online are not available to use.  Will stick to X9 until Publisher one day maybe catch up.

I'm curious if there is a plan in the future to make pages interactive - I.E., click on one image, it shows brief animation or switch to another image.  Would make great e-books for the children.

A useful feature to be added - Hyperlinks. Link to a URL (either a web address or a mailto: email address), link to a page within the document, or link to a specific item within the document (such that the link updates if the item moves to a new page).
Many of my Page Layout documents are exported as PDF files, and having the ability to link to external web sites or to other areas within the same document is crucial.

Hi - I currently use InDesign to create interactive eBooks in Fixed Layout ePub format. I would love it if Affinity Publisher could also  do this and allow me to ditch the last Adobe product I use.

LaTeX and InDesign can both create a PDF with bookmarks, based on the headings structure or other styles. (InDesign has a nice 'Table of Contents' function for managing this.) This greatly improves PDF usability.

Hyperlinks are shurely very useful for all documents, that are not only designated to print.

Great job with the Publisher, guys! Most of the things we need are there, with a couple of obvious exceptions. The dealbreaker for me is the fact that I cannot add links to the text. I hope you'll add that feature soon.
