@G13RL: I moved the right node to the red one and indeed now I have 2 handles and it behaves as I wanted, thanks ! Strange that you can fill it with a colour even when the curve is not closed. Learning every day ! Wonderfull application.

if i put my cursor on the line between the left and the right node nothing happened. Normally i would do as you described but in this case the sign that show you can move the line doesn't appear.

Deleting this node will not solve the problem as the node above with the blue handle will then have this issue.

I have a problem with the node at the bottom.

As you can see there is only 1 handle. How can I get the second handle ? And is this the reason why I can't add an extra node between this node and the node completely at the right ?

Thanks for any help ! I scanned multiple small objects and converted  them via the web into curves and got for each of the objects the same issue.
