Hey, I was wondering if Affinity Publisher can support importing animated GIF files or other short video clips as something like a cool animated cover photo. Is this a thing Publisher can do? If so, what happens if someone prints it (does it just grab the first frame of the clip?)? If not, then is this a feature that Affinity has planned for the future? It would really help me and Affinity stand out if this is included in this post-printer world of business and entertainment.
Thanks in advance for any answers. 🙂

That's unfortunate. It's something Adobe can do with .MOV and .WAV files, so I was hoping Affinity would at least some day have plans to implement. I guess I'll have to get a hold of Adobe at some point to give that a try. I make products for Pen and Paper RPGs, so it would really help set my products apart when most people are playing on laptops and mobiles these days. Anyway, thanks for the response!
