Affinity Photo Preview vs Original Document (Resolution)
in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
Posted · Edited by Derek C.
In the attached photo, the image on the right is the original and the image on the left is exactly as it appears by default once opened in Affinity Photo. I understand that the program reduces the preview quality in order to make things runs smoother, faster, more efficient overall, etc. However, I have a decently fast and powerful graphics card and other hardware on my laptop and I prefer to have 100% quality (i.e. full resolution) previews as I'm editing a photo, so I can understand exactly how it will look prior to exporting and/or rendering it. I thought that this would be a relatively easy thing to find online, but I have been unsuccessful finding a solution.
Thank you!
