NIKON Z-9 NEF Files on Affinity Mac M1 version

Dear Team Affinity, For some reason, the Nikon Z-9 NEF files do not open on Affinity, and I have already burnt my bridges with Adobe! I am working on an M1 MacMini running macOS BigSur (Version 11.6). Can you please help? Hmm? DSC_1839.NEF

I have a few images shot on the latest Nikon Z-9, on Raw. Now, Affinity just refuses to do anything with them. ANy solutions???
