Sorry, for bumping old thread but is there any news on this request? I cannot believe that we cannot remove nodes simply with mouse (or I'm missing something?). I'm working mostly with stylus on a Win tablet without keyboard and not having a button or (at least) context menu item to remove a node is a real pain.
