  1. Hi Mystic Shadow,

The Artboards and the ability to export each artboard as a page are only available in the latest Affinity Designer Beta which you can install from here. Just remember to keep the Mac App Store version installed since its needed to run the Beta.

Alternatively you can wait for the next update to the MAc App Store version that should be available before Christmas.

    Thank you!

I try the beta version and it works!!!!! :)

I see that there is the support in my language... great!

I think there is a little bug: if  I copy the layer in a new art board and I do not see the new white art board on the screen, the content of the layer is pasted in the center of the screen and not in the new art board.

    Thanks a lot!

  2. Sorry, my mistake: I overlooked that you were using Photo. The artboard tools are in Designer.

You could try opening both the original PDF and your edited version in Photo Beta. The original PDF should have the multiple artboards, and you can delete their old content and copy your edited content from the layers in the new document.

Photo is not really intended to be a multi-page or multi-artboard app. It sounds like Designer will be the better tool for what you are doing.

I have the affinity designer from mac app store.

The imported pdf is with different layer. Now, with this version is not possible to export a pdf file with different pages?

  3. I'm sorry Mystic Shadow, but I do not have a Canon so cannot help there, other than to suggest that you perhaps Pixelmator has changed the profile of the imported image to Adobe RGB (you can check and change by opening an image in Pixelmator and then Image > Color profile.

Don't worry billtils! Thanks for your answers! :)

  4. Those are the profiles in the EXIF data for your three posted pics.

    Yes. Thanks. I get it.

I see the info in the original cr2 file and I see the color profile Adobe(1998). :)

The last thing: this is due to the software AP or the setting I used?

I'm sorry but i really don't understand why there is a difference among softwares.

    Thanks

  5. The two images from AP look identical to me; and I agree with what you say about the difference in the pixelmator one.  However, the colour profile in the AP ones is sRGB IEC61966-2.1 but the pixelmator one is Adobe RGB (1998), which probably explains the differences in what you are seeing.

The .cr2 file is Adobe RGB (1998) but AP doesn't read this profile. I try to modify in develop persona in output (because the menu camera profile is not available) but the result doesn't change. It is very strange for me.

  6. Are your png files exports or screen captures?

Can we go back to basics for a moment and could you develop the original .cr2 in AP once more and export as a jpeg with the settings shown in your post above, and also export it as a .png using the highest quality settings, do the three images (the .cr2, the ,jpg, and the .png) look different?

    I try again.

I see that the colors change already in develop persona. I don't touch any setting. The photo is shooted with a Canon 5D Mark III.

But if I open the picture with preview on mac or in pixelmator, the colors are a bit different (the skin is more pink and not white). I don't know if you can see the difference in these images.

  7. This is of some interest to me since I use a Canon and am processing CR2 files frequently. Could you attach some screen shots to show what differences you are referring to?

And are you talking about differences between the original raw and the export file or between the adjusted image and the exported file?

    Hi.

My problem is related to the colors. I try to attach 2 screenshots.

I am not a professional user and i think there is a problem with my settings.

In export persona i select "embed icc profile" and i also try with only use document profile.

When i re-open the exported file with affinity, the software said to me that is undefined profile.

I try also to export with other software (like pixelmator) but this problem there isn't.

    Thank you!
