I've loved seeing the evolution of the design and been impressed with the incisive feedback you have been getting here.
Here is my constructive criticism on the latest design.
My main issues at this point are with the banner and the typographical style in the club's name and motto. I agreed with earlier critiques that urged you away from 3D-type beveling and embossing and feel the changes you implemented improved the design. But this computer generated look has crept back in in the textual elements and the use of grads in the banner and IMO it detracts. Not sure about the font used and the characters seem crowded.
I wish the grads in the banner text were more 2-D looking (more in keeping with the flags).
The motto below also seems awkward typographically.
I also feel you have lost the sense of flags being "crosses" (especially the Danish and Finnish flags) relative to the earlier versions  (which I prefered in that regard).
Nit-pick aside, I think this is awesome work. I'd have kept my mouth shut otherwise.
    Great work!

This rotation doesn't change the document content, which is why it doesn't get added to History (and wouldn't be appropriate to add). It only changes how you're looking at the document.

You are just changing the view of the document, not anything in the document itself. So just like changing the view by zooming in or out, there is nothing shown in the History panel, & nothing in the document itself to undo.

    Hi @William Cartwright,
Unfortunately as you've found, rotating the canvas doesn't add a History 'step', so this cannot be undone using the CMD + Z shortcut - however as above you should be able to reset the rotation using the menu option, or the shortcut CMD + CTRL + SHIFT + R.
Alternatively, if you navigate to Affinity Photo > Preferences > Tools you can untick Enable canvas rotation with CMD + scroll wheel and this should stop the canvas rotating accidentally.
    I hope this helps

Does View > Reset Rotation do what you want?

I figured it out, use the "New Panorama" tool under file. Works great.

For anyone who’s interested, I updated this coat of arms to make it more like the 1893 original.

William, I think this is what you need.

It is possible this panel is in a Studio tab group, & if the Studio panel is too narrow to show the full names of unselected tabs, its name will be abbreviated to "Frm" unless/until it is selected.
If you can't find it there, is it possible you sometimes use or have used more than one monitor? If so, it may be trying to appear on the second monitor's screen even when it is not connected to your computer.

As far as I can tell, to do it the way you want (or how I have understood it) it you don’t need to ignore the text wrapping, so you don’t need the Text Frame Panel in this case.
Just put the image and text frame in a group and add the text wrap to the group (see attached image and GIF).

@William Cartwright Use @GarryP‘s solution.  It is the correct one.   I have done several books now with hundreds of images with captions, using this method.  Works perfectly.  Be sure that before grouping, the caption’s text frame is the same horizontal width as the image’s frame.  Merry Christmas!

Ah! You asked the right question, Walt.
I was NOT in the Publisher persona when I was checking the Studio selections. Thank you so much!!!
You've really saved me. A quick test and this appear to be working. I "overslept" a little, but this fix more than compensates for the time.
    Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!

There's an option to ignore text wrap in the Text Frame studio panel that might help.

Thank you so much for these tools. I have been looking for something to accomplish this task that was this simple. Much appreciated.
I will add for anyone who is unsure how to import these tools that if one goes to the "Styles" tab there is a tool selection icon that drops down the option to Import Styles Catagory.

Good tip. It also works on Mac OS.
I still think links to the website should be more prominent.
The experience of a new user who has access to all the great tutorials and support from Affinity/Serif and fellow users here on the forum vs one who isn't aware of these resources would be hugely different.

Just in case it helps you (won't help anyone without the program), on Windows Help > Support... will get you to the forums. The same might be true of Mac, but I can't tell.

Happy New Year and my apologies for not having the perfect place to post this topic.
As a user, I've found this forum to be an invaluable source of information and inspiration over the years. Between the forum and the well-produced tutorials, any issues (learning curves) with transitioning to Affinity products were greatly diminished. I'm a fan.
When I've recommended Affinity software to others, I always suggest looking at the forum and the tutorials. But right now the link to the forums seems "buried" on the Serif/Affinity website. There is no link on the homepage and only by clicking through to the menu and then looking under the options for "Company" is it discoverable. I had trouble finding it this morning (and I knew what I was looking for). I'd consider making a link to the forum much more prominent.

William Cartwright got a reaction from carl123 in Need Help Correcting “Farmer’s” Tan on Subjects Arm
There might be a more elegant way to accomplish the feat, but since no one else chimed in I will post how I attacked the photo. These adjustments were applied to a duplicate layer and then masked to contain just the problematic "farmer's tan" portion of the photo.

Effects stacked from top to bottom.
HSL: Saturation Shift -60%  Luminance Shift -10%
    Brightness/Contrast: B= 44% C =90%
Curves: Trickiest to describe. In the bottom left square create a node at about the midpoint of that square and pull diagonally (down and to the right) to darken tattoos.
    Levels: Black 4%  White 97% Gamma 0.737%
    Color Balance: Shadows C/R 13   M/G 5  Y/B 36, Midrange C/R 12   M/G 15  Y/B -24, Highlights C/R -26   M/G -12  Y/B -24
Mask Layer: I used an Empty Mask Layer and painted it using White in the mask layer (with some feathering).
    Hope this helps!
ETA: Done on Mac, not iPad. Hope all translates.

William Cartwright got a reaction from 276ccm in The Hicks Syndicate - “Vintage poster”
    I like it a lot.
Moto Sickles seems strange to be, but if that's his branding, so be it.
    Constructive criticisms:
    1) I don't like that the "Moto Sickles" text crowds into the "Syndicate" banner. I'd adjust.
    2) IMO the "God loves 'em Devils Ride 'em" text could use some kerning, especially reducing the spaces between words somewhat and possibly also spreading the text a little. Not yet balanced to my eye.
    3) Maybe go a little brighter on The Hicks Initiative so as to draw ones eye to the brand.

As above, no perspective tool in AD at present.

You can also place vector brush strokes in a pixel selection. From a pixel layer, make a selection, and make that a separate layer. Using the Insert Inside option on the selected layer, the vector brush strokes only shows up in the pix layer.
