This is truly maddening. I have imported 6 png images and when I close the document and delete those images from my desktop they are super low res when I re-open the document. Obviously I am breaking the link. How can get AD to save those png images to the document? I really can not believe that AD has to work with linking resources. Surely I am missing something. Any help much appreciated.

its a isometric vector design with all layers grouped.

additionally I just realized that after importing the asset AD does not allow me to save document before closing (save option is greyed out)

I am trying to save assets but it seems to not work. After I save an asset I open a new document and the asset that I saved previously is not in the asset panel. I assume the asset should stay in the asset panel when saved. Correct?
thanks

I am brand new to AD. In the attached image I am trying to exclude the portions of the horizontal lines that fall outside of the black inverted teardrop object so they will only be seen on the black object. I have tried all modes in the geometry pane with no luck. This should be simple, however, I can't seem to get it to work. Any help much appreciated.

thanks
