As I already stated in the initial thread I am using a color overlay fx in overlay mode.
As @GarryP said It would be similar to a recolor overlay.
Anyway this is not the point of my question. I was asking if it is possible to apply/merge an fx or an adjustment layer, so I can export the file in svg eithout having to rasterize the objects with the fx or adjustment layers.
It looks like it is not possible.

Sorry for the poor explanation I am using the effects on a group of paths.
I have attached a screenshot to explain what I am trying to do.
In this case I am using an fx layer but I can get the same result with an adjustment layer.
Problem is that it gets ignored if I do not rasterize the image when I export the file to svg.

I am using an effect. Maybe the adjustment layer is what I should use, still it doesn't get converted. Is there a way to apply the adjustment to the paths?

Hi,
thanks for checking out.I believe the svg has ben rasterized. I do not have that problem if the vector path is converted into an image... You have to check rasterize to nothing under the more options.
Unfortunately for file size reasons I need a vector file... -
Hi all,
I am using a color layer fx in overlay mode to colorize some layers I originally graded in grayscale.
I want to export these layers in svg and I realized that the fx are not supported so I end up with a greyscale image. Is there is a way to apply the layer effects in affinity designer and convert that in a layer or do I have to manually assign colors to the paths?
Thank you

The reason why I don't want to color it manually is because I have been using grayscale with effects from the beginning and now I have a lot of objects I have to manually change fill and color. I wanted to check if there was a way to merge this effect to the paths. To be honest I can understand why effects can't be merged down but adjustment layers could be easily converted from raster to vector.
