The Affinity Designer app may be precisely what I need for a task-at-hand. But before I commit to a purchase, I would like confirmation that Designer will do what I need.  Which is this: I need to annotate a topological map with the names of certain features like creeks, rivers, roads and so on. These features are generally somewhat "windy"...like the irregular line of a creek flow, as one example.  What I need is a tool in which I can draw a smooth path along the feature (image a flattened, gentle "S" shape on it's side), then clip that path and paste It into Designer, then type the feature on the path, then copy the curved text and paste it into the map. Will Affinity Designer allow me to do this?
