I tried this (i.e. opened an Image, unlocked, rasterised, Created ratio, selected "Added Preset"), and yes it works fine on that one image, but if I try to use it on another project it is not working. Asha, have you tried to open a new project and attempted to use the Preset ratio that you added during a previous project ?

Yes that is the problem I am having. The presets I have saved do not hold the aspect ratio. A bit annoyingly, I have been getting on with my editing by typing my preferred ratio in the boxes every time I crop, just as GC60 is.

Hi A photo competition requires images submitted as JPEG level 8. Am I right in thinking this would be done in Export Persona - Export Options and selecting the Quality setting number between 1 & 100, in this example would simply selecting 8 be the answer ?

Hi I have created a crop preset of 3:1 This works if I use the frame that appears on selecting the preset but if I want to size the frame to my requirements it will not hold the preset ratio and merely acts as if un constrained. What am I doing wrong ? cheers

I managed to change the dpi by exporting through "Export persona" unsure as to why it will not thru export from the File drop downs ? what is the best method for quality to increase dpi of a 72dpi image for a printer to the the suggested 150 dpi ? e.g. should I use Bicubic or Lanczos 3 (non separable) ?

Hi Callum Yes that is how I am checking the Dpi after exporting, but still says 72 dpi Andy

Hi All I am very new to Affinity photo and have learned much by searching this forum. However with this task I am stuck so impelled to ask for advice. I am trying to change my photo dpi from 72 to 100 and higher. I use "Document Resize" and it does change but when I export it to a desktop folder the "Info" indicates that it is still only 72 dpi. I am after best quality of course, so from reading here I am using "Lanczos 3 (non separable) I have tried with the resample box checked and again with it unchecked to no avail. Where am I going wrong ? (2015 macbook Pro) Andy
