Thanks so much for your reply. I wish I had set up the text frames on the Master, but alas I did not. This is my first bigger project on Publisher after moving from InDesign, so a fair few things still to learn.

Thanks for this, Old Bruce! That seems to make sense. Sorry, only saw your reply now. The project is pausing while the rest of the book completes the editing phase, then I'll give this a shot.
