thank you very much for your effort. I am very grateful for this. My main concern is to find out where the crashes are coming from. I am hopeful that the developers can figure this out as well. So that I can avoid it in the future. In any case, it doesn't seem to be a hardware problem, but a problem with the programme.

Hi @Dan C, thanks very much for your answer. I'm sorry for the misunderstandings. Yes, it would be great if i could get a recoverd file once again. I uploaded the crashed file in the dropbox. Its a new file, not the crashed one from Decembre. After recovering this one from December it workes fine. But now its the same problem with this one, another new file. I really need to find out the problem because I really enjoy working with Affinity Designer...

Sorry, the file is apparently too big to upload. Maybe someone can give me a dropbox link for the upload again. the last time @DWrightwas able to restore a file. @Arte had the idea with the possibly damaged working memory. I was able to clarify and clear that up in the meantime. Its not the problem.

Hi all, Unfortunately, I have to get back to you. I have the same problem again and again. When saving the file, it crashes and cannot be opened again. It is a really big problem. If no solution is found, I will have to change to another programme. After crashing, the following error messages appear: I had already reported on this problem in December. One of two files could then actually be restored. Someone had the idea that it might be the memory RAM. In the meantime, I had my IT specialist check my PC, especially the working memory. But everything is in order. I am sending the damaged file in the attachment. The last thing I was working on was editing an area in Desinger Persona. I really need to find a solution to this problem. Hi @DWright , I apologise for not replying until now. I've had a pretty crazy couple of weeks. A thousand thanks for your effort and the repaired file. That helped me a lot. Can I ask how you were able to fix the file? I wonder what the reason was that it could no longer be opened? Maybe you can give me some more information on this? Thank you very much! 🙂

Hi Markus, This is the second time for me too. Unfortunately, i don't have the programmes for the tablet. on the pc, i can't open the file in affinity publisher and photo either. it is more than annoying.

Thank you very much for your effort. It sounds not very good. I have a backup file from last Saturday when the file was still working. Would this be of any help to you? Otherwise, I'll now sit down and reconstruct the last days of working on the file. Still, I really need to figure out the reason so it doesn't happen again in the future.

It's not pretty. In desperation, I started my own thread today. Maybe the tips there can help you. It seems that this is not an isolated case. I really hope we can solve it.
