Yes. If you use saved Text Styles you simply can choose a different font.
If not, you can replace a font via the Find and Replace panel > cog icon > Format and select the font there.

Escape Escape Z then hit the T to go back to the text tool. That is such a pain. I frequently get v a m b and more in my text.

Most major software companies could have used Control Space for zooming because most computers don't have a Command key.
Apple may be arrogant in your opinion, in mine they are more frequently [expletive deleted] stupid. How long until they recognized the existence of a mouse with two buttons.

First, a forum hint: AP is Affinity Photo, as you can see when browsing the forums on a computer if you hover over the underlined abbreviation, e.g.,

If you want to abbreviate Publisher, you can use Apu or Apub.
Next, zooming: Press and hold the Space bar. Then check the Status Bar at the bottom of the window for modifier key hints. On Windows, with the Space bar held, I can press Ctrl and then I'm in Zoom mode, with several possibilities. On Mac it might be a different key, like Cmd.

Thanks for an answer. My question is:  What kind of "artist" deforming font that way? That should not be allowed, or at least not as a default. I vote for renaming  it to "Bad Artist Text Tool" ;).

Carlsson got a reaction from walt.farrell in Copying data into tables
If I copy a tab-delimeted text with normal carriage returns, apps like Numbers, Excel and Indesign paste it just as you want and expect them to be pasted.
In Affinity the same text is pasted in one single cell.

Example; This text is tab-delimeted as mentioned:
    A1    Steve    Joe
    A2    Tim    Ruben
    B1    Walter    Job
    C3    James    Bruno

I am exporting text like this from a Filemaker solution and are used to just paste it with no effort into an Indesign document. Now I have to rethink my Affinity strategy. It may work this time, because I am stubborn and still want to learn the app. But with more data this will take a lot more time...
